Open Doors
Open Doors is the first globally accredited board training offered specifically to women leaders from across Africa. This programme covers the core modules of Governance, Finance, Strategy and Leadership, and this course leads to the award in Company Direction issued by the UK's Institute of Directors. The programme has been specifically designed for TBrA members with bonus sessions such as the Leadership Workshop, a Board Simulation Exercise and a Speakers’ Panel.
Beyond the network, I also benefited from the classes — particularly the modules on finance, which went beyond the numbers to focus on the “why” of mechanisms and processes. Learning is a curve that never stops.Nabou Fall, Managing Director, Vizeo
From the modules to instructors, this is a world-class training. While I certainly had a tremendous learning curve, I walked away knowing how I can be more effective in a board role.Abam Mambo-Doh, Former Regional Legal Director, Microsoft

Our partnership with TBrA has already begun helping us reach our commitment to promoting gender equality in corporate leadership. The funding we’re announcing today will help TBrA continue to provide us with outstanding candidates for our portfolio that we would not have otherwise found.
